Knead It events
Knead It Events is run by Gina & Ram Iyer. Their aim is to bring Bakers together to support each other and to make the community closer and more interactive. They bring "baker's meets" to cities around India .
At these meets they provide insightful demonstrations for home bakers . They work with various Cake Experts who have excelled in their own fields. These experts themselves are tutors and are widely followed by the community. Here home bakers are given a glimpse into each experts teaching style . This enables students and experts to meet and get to know each other on a more personal level.
These meets are a day of intense learning. The experts encourage participation from the participants and will often turn their demonstrations into a hands-on experience for those that wish to experience first hand.
The meets are normally, 7 to 8 demonstrations, lasting 40 mins each. The demonstrations cover various verticals in the Baking industry. From French pastry to the delicate work of sugar floristry, Bread baking and good old fashioned baking. Currently trends in the market like structured cakes to healthy baking are all included. This is a day of complete learning.
Knead it Events also believes strongly in promoting new and upcoming talent. Knead it Events is proud to find new faces and to provide a platform for them.
One of Knead It Event's other products is CakeMe Away. This is a 3 day affair .Here the participants come and stay with Knead It Events in an exotic location to have an intense learning experience. Here Knead It Events has amazing demonstrations and masterclasses. It is 3 days of baker's bliss and 3 days of uninterrupted caking and baking . Ram & Gina Iyer work tirelessly to bring aspiring home bakers together by providing each and every one of them with a platform to receive training and guidance, network within the baking community, and to showcase their uniquely individual talents.
Gina is a home baker herself and believes that everyone has a passion that they should pursue relentlessly. Ram has worked as a musician in the film industry for over 30 years, and deeply appreciates and understands the need for every artist to express themselves and be appreciated for the same.
This lovely couple has two beautiful children whom they consider parenting, as their main job. “We just want to raise two well-adjusted good human beings,” says a doting Gina. Ardent advocates of hands-on parenting, Ram & Gina consider family to be the most important thing in the world. What’s more, their love for artistic expression encourages the children to follow their dreams as well.
